In 1987 Light Brigade started the crusade to broaden the industry’s fiber optic skills training and knowledge. Today, Light Brigade is regarded as the Leader in Fiber Optic Skills Training.In August 2020, Light Brigade was acquired by Hexatronic Group AB, a Swedish-based public technology company that specializes in fiber optic products and training services.For over 35 years Light Brigade has offered worldwide, state-of-the-art, instructor-led, certified fiber optic training courses and hands-on skills training for industry professionals. Light Brigade has trained over 85,000 technicians, installers, engineers, designers, and other support staff from a variety of industries worldwide, equipping them with the skills required to move forward in their careers.

ETA International
Founded November 14, 1978, the Electronics Technicians Association, International, Inc. (doing business as ETA® International), is a not-for-profit 501(c)(6) trade association that serves technology-related industries by providing accredited individual certifications per the ISO 17024 standard for certification bodies. ETA works closely with top industry professionals to provide industry-backed certifications that fill the needs of ETA’s members, though membership is not required to take an ETA examination. ETA has issued over 200,000 technical certifications covering more than 80 certification programs in a variety of technology fields.
